In addition to being a wonderful learning opportunity and having our current members present research, ACS Colloids also provided many chances for us to catch up with group alumni! We were able to chat with Dr. Suk-Tai Chang (former member and a former visiting researcher who has returned to his group in Korea), Dr. Stuart Williams (former visiting researcher who has returned to University of Kentucky in Louisville), Fuduo Ma (former postdoc, now in industry), and Dr. Bhuvnesh Bharti (former postdoc and research faculty, now a PI at Louisiana State University). In addition, Bhuvnesh brought his research students with him, who gave great presentations and then wanted to take a photo with their “Academic Grandfather”!!
