| The Velev group has routine group meetings where we either practice for conference talks or present our latest research, but we had a special treat at our group meeting on Thursday. We had excellent guest presentations from Dr. Alan Jacob, a postdoc in the Hsiao Group (above on left), and Barbara Vasconcelos de Farias, a 5th year in the Khan Group (above on right), on their research and how they make use of rheology and tribology.
To wrap up our meeting, Dr. Velev did a presentation on nanocoatings (below)- he shared with us the work he did as a student and postdoc himself and the work of previous group members!
