Future Leaders in Chemical Engineering – 2019

2019 Future Leaders

The Future Leaders in Chemical Engineering symposium is a highly selective research symposium that’s organized by the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at NC State University. The 1.5 day symposium is a platform for the finest and brightest undergraduate researchers in the U.S. to present their work and be recognized for their achievements and potential as future leaders in chemical and biomolecular engineering.

Held each year in October, selected undergraduate researchers who are working in areas related to chemical and biomolecular engineering, including the materials sciences, chemistry, biochemistry, bioengineering, etc., are invited to the NC State campus where they present their work in a 2-minute “soundbites” presentation and a poster session. It’s a unique opportunity to network with faculty and peers about state-of-the-art research. Student participants receive a plaque recognizing their participation. All student expenses are paid by the Department.

A list of the 2019 student participants, their universities and titles of their soundbites is available here.
