Laura and Ben present talks at Schoenborn

The Schoenborn Graduate Research Symposium in NC State’s Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department is an annual symposium where senior and mid-level students present their research to the department as either oral talks or posters. Both Laura and Ben gave presentations on their research in the Biotechnology section titled “Boiling Bugs Break Biomass: How extreme thermophiles use lignocellulose” and “Carbon Dioxide Capture into Chemicals with Extreme Thermophiles: Can heat loving microbes help keep the earth cool?”, respectively.
