Professor Velev is the recipient of the 2017 R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company Award. The R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company Award for Excellence in Teaching, Research, and Extension is the most prestigious award which the College of Engineering at North Carolina State University can bestow upon a faculty member. More important, the awards have enabled the College to recognize the accomplishments of outstanding faculty members.
The award and lecture will be presented at the Monteith Engineering Research Center on Centennial campus on November 14th, 2017.
