Sooah is from South Korea and has completed her B.S in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in February 2015 from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. She enrolled in the Ph.D program at North Carolina State University in Fall 2015 and joined the Spontak and Khan research groups. Her research is focused on nanocellulose nanocomposites.
