What?

A 1.5 day, all-expense paid, highly-selective research symposium at NC State University recognizing the top undergraduate researchers in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in the United States.

Who?

Undergraduates majoring in Chemical Engineering (and related fields)* in the USA who have performed academic research and are within two years of graduation are eligible to apply.

*Includes, for example, Materials Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioengineering students that are doing research related to Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering

Meet the awardees

When?

Applications due before midnight September 14th.

Awardees will be notified by September 20th .

Symposium will be held at North Carolina State University on October 22-23, 2017.  (awardees must attend to be eligible)

Why?

Those selected will receive a plaque and an all-expense paid trip to the research symposium on October 22-23, 2017 in beautiful Raleigh, NC (must be present to be eligible). Awardees will present their research (soundbites and poster session), meet peers, and learn more about applying to graduate school and graduate fellowships.
