Laura Lee, an alumna of High Point University, was chosen to be the keynote speaker for their 3rd annual summer undergraduate research symposium, HPU SuRPS. Her talk, “Boiling Bugs Break Biomass: An Investigation Into High Temperature, Cellulolytic Microorganisms”, focused on her research into the Caldicellulosiruptor genus, as well as some insight into graduate school for prospective students.
