  • Documents assigned tasks in written form and edits own work before submitting to editor

  • Works with team to redistribute work if someone is over- or under-loaded

4. Editor

  • Makes writing assignments
  • Collects information from each person to compile in one document
  • Edits the document as a whole to ensure organization, structure, transitions, introduction/conclusion present in each section, common tone, etc.
  • Gives feedback and suggestions on individual sections – seeks outside help if needed (peer review, writing center, etc.). If poor quality, may require rewrite and resubmittal.
  • Does not write the whole document alone and unaided!
