Christina Tang Receives NSF CAREER Award

Alum Christina Tang (Ph.D. ‘12) has received a CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation (NSF). Dr. Tang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Life Sciences Engineering at Virginia Commonwealth University. The title of her Award is “Directed Self-Assembly of Multifunctional Polymer Nanoreactors for Sustainable Chemical Manufacturing

The NSF views the CAREER award among its ” … most prestigious awards in support of early-career faculty who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization.”
